DEFINE MARKETER

Marketer is a person who advertises or promotes products and services offered by someone or himself. Marketer can also be defined as a person who promotes certain products and services by pitching them to people and convincing them to buy it. The main intention of any marketer is to sell products. Marketers work involves responsibilities like planning, developing, testing, analyzing and implementing strategies to maximize profits, find new ways to promote products and services, plan strategies and executes to promote brand image. Their aim is to boost sales by considering marketing mix elements (the 4Ps). To do their job effectively, a good marketer needs to have certain qualities like strong communication and inter personal skills, influencing and negotiation, creative and planning, leadership and analytical skills. It takes a lot of skill and practice to be a greatmarketer but every great thing ever built took time right?
